STREAM is now making available the Project Evaluation Tool - H2, which allows the assessment of the feasibility of hydrogen production projects, through the parameterization of technical and financial inputs.
The tool is based on the 2 most mature processes on the market for this purpose:
Alkaline Electrolysis;
PEM Electrolysis.
It also allows you to model the energy supply, following a 100% grid model or consider hybrid models with the addition of solar or wind self-consumption units.
With this tool, you can perform the analysis from the perspective of one of three available business models:
Mobility;
Grid Injection;
Self-consumption (industry).
This selection will influence the forecasting models of hydrogen demand, defined through the Portuguese climate goals and the existing limitations (e.g. gas grid constraints).
This tool is also prepared for projects that contemplate funding from public incentives as the support to produce renewable gases.
Finally, it allows you to manually insert data about your project or select suggested market data.

How feasible is the project I intend to implement?
What are the technical parameters that make the project feasible?
