DNSH – A Commitment to Sustainability in Investments
In the current European funding landscape, environmental sustainability has become an essential criterion. The DNSH principle ("Do No Significant Harm") is now a mandatory requirement for projects seeking support under the PRR and Portugal 2030 programmes.
To comply with this requirement, beneficiaries of such support must submit a self-assessment report by the project’s completion, demonstrating that their investments align with this principle.
STREAM participated in the Hydrogen & Fuel Cells Energy Summit organized by ACI (Active Communications International) between March 16th and 17th, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Porto.
This 5th edition brought together the main stakeholders in the hydrogen industry, where STREAM had the opportunity to disclose the most appropriate incentive systems for investment projects in energy and climate sector, in Portugal and in Europe.
During two days, several presentations, with the presence of speakers from PRF, Smartenergy Group, Efacec, Bilfinger, among others, were made. Commercial strategies to increase profitability in hydrogen production, application of hydrogen in the automotive sector, use of H2 to support the integration of renewable sources and energy transition, as well as the REPowerEU initiative that will bring new support for decarbonization to decrease dependence on gas from Russia by 2030, were some of the topics discussed at the event.
