Portugal is the 25th strongest national brand in the world

Portugal entered into the top 25 of the strongest national brands, according to the "Brand Finance Nation Brands 2021" report, rising 5 places compared to the previous year. This podium is led by Switzerland, with Germany dropping from first to 5th. United Kingdom, United States, Japan and France all fell from the top 10 and Spain suffered a drop of 9 positions compared to 2020, occupying now the 34th place.

The financial value of the Portugal brand also increased, reflecting the improved strength of the brand. With an increase of 16%, to 230 billion dollars, Portugal rose 4 positions to establish itself in the 40 most valuable national brands.

If in "strength" the United Kingdom, United States, Japan and France fell from the top 10, the same did not happen with the value. The United States continues to be settled in the first place, while Japan remains in 3rd, the United Kingdom in 5th and France in the 6th position.
