DNSH – A Commitment to Sustainability in Investments
In the current European funding landscape, environmental sustainability has become an essential criterion. The DNSH principle ("Do No Significant Harm") is now a mandatory requirement for projects seeking support under the PRR and Portugal 2030 programmes.
To comply with this requirement, beneficiaries of such support must submit a self-assessment report by the project’s completion, demonstrating that their investments align with this principle.
During July 6 and 7, STREAM was present at Connecting Green H2 Europe 2022, in Madrid. The role of green hydrogen in the European roadmap, the situation of Spain as a European hub for hydrogen and the commercial strategies being developed to accelerate the development of the hydrogen value chain were some of the topics analyzed.
In addition, other issues were highlighted, including the use of hydrogen for heavy transport, the investments needed to achieve a mature ecosystem for green hydrogen, the opportunities for green hydrogen production and emerging technologies in this field or the establishment of recharging infrastructure, as well as current projects in this field and their prospects.
